Tumbling Wall Opens Up TFI Possibilities

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — Sledgehammer in hand, U.S. Rep. Wally Herger took the first swing at an office wall within the 713th Combat Operations facilities. The congressman's blow punched a large hole in the wall scheduled to be removed soon as part of a construction project that will permit the 713 COS to better support warfighting commanders in the Pacific and beyond.

Photo Essay: Major General Mazick Intrigued by Emerging Missions

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — Maj. Gen. Martin Mazick, Vice Commander of Air Force Reserve Command, visited the 940th Wing March 10. The general's day started with a breakfast with enlisted personal, followed by tours of the wing's operational squadrons. General Mazick visited the 713th Combat Operations Squadron, 50th Intelligence Squadron, and 13th Reconnaissance Squadron.
