Recruiting steady despite COVID-19 challenges

DUKE FIELD, Fla. — Recruiters developed new ways to get enlistees into the U.S. Air Force despite pandemic challenges by using live video communication and online record processing. Recruiting figures stayed steady throughout the fiscal year with recruiters expecting to reach their end goal. Combat Aviation Advisors, civil engineers, and security forces members are all high in demand.

Today, Air Force Recruiting Service and Air Force Reserve Recruiting signed a mutual support agreement that will combine resources and integrate staff to enhance marketing and advertising. The agreement goes into effect Apr. 1, 2021.
