Beale trains for two-ship tactical formation flying
Lt. Col. Scott Meyer, 314th Air Refueling Squadron Director of Operations, taxis a KC-135 Stratotanker down the runway at Beale Air Force Base, California on Feb. 11, 2017 as part of a two-ship formation training sortie. The 314 ARS have to formation train for tactical purposes and the unit training assembly is an opportune time for traditional reserve maintainers and pilots to all train and fly together.
