Coastal maintainers team up

Maintainers in the 927th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron from MacDill AFB Florida train with the 940th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Beale AFB, California in the sheet metal shop during a joint two-week training requirement. The 927th AMXS sheet metal shop works in support of 16 KC-135 aircraft on station at any given time to maintain and support anything in the air frame that involves sheet metal, composites, tubing, flight control cables, and protective coatings on the jet, such as primers and rain erosion equipment.
