Tech. Sgt. Rene Reyna-Tobar, 940th Aerospace Medicine Squadron medical services technician, shows a group of logistics and medical personnel about splints used to stabilize fractures, at Beale Air Force Base, California, March 6, 2016. These splints are made out of a special material which easily conforms to a person’s limb making it easier to splint a fracture. They are issued to each deploying Airman in an IFAK or Individual First Aid Kit, which contains a number of first aid supplies they may need. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Heather Skinkle)
