A team of 940th Aerospace Medicine Squadron members arrange Tech. Sgt. Joyce Satterfield, an optometry technician and simulated patient exhibiting blood loss, on a litter during a Mass Casualty Exercise, Oct. 5, 2014, Beale Air Force Base, Calif. Barbara Boyer, a retired lieutenant colonel and former 940th AMDS chief nurse, instructs the litter team on how to properly arrange the litter straps so as not to further injure the 'patient.'
