940th Airman cares for wounded 'patients' during Mass Casualty Exercise

Airman First Class Casilda Scott, 940th Aerospace Medicine Squadron medical technician, examines 'patient' Robert Landgraf's simulated cut arm, at the squadron's annual Mass Casualty Exercise, Oct. 5, 2014, Beale Air Force Base, Calif. Landgraf, a retired colonel and former 940th AMDS commander, played a distressed patient that tried to distract the teams from helping the more seriously wounded patients. Involving the mentally traumatized 'patients' helped mimic as realistic of an emergency environment as possible. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Heather Skinkle/Released)
