940th Maintenance Group packs up

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, CALIF. -- Airman First Class Kenneth Roan, 940th Maintenance Group supply, packs time compliance technical orders for the KC-135R model Stratotankers Apr. 30, 2008. The last two jets assigned to the Air Force Reserve's 940th Air Refueling Wing here departed May 3 for their new home with the 916th ARW, Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. After 31 years of aerial refueling, the Beale Reservists will stand up a classic associate unit to partner the active duty in emerging missions that include flying the unmanned aerial reconnaissance and surveillance RQ-4 Global Hawk.
