Little Leaguers Honor Air Force Reservists

The Sunrise Little League all-stars proudly show off the newest patch on their uniforms. The team is wearing the unit patch of the Air Force Reserve's 940th Air Refueling Wing, Beale AFB, Calif., to honor their local military heroes. Ten year old Colton Nelson, seventh from the left, is particularly proud, as his uncle, Master Sgt. Hector Aguilar, a transportation specialist with the 940th Logistics Readiness Squadron, is deployed to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror. The team won their first game July 5 with a score of 10-5, dropped their second game July 6, but won the third 6-3, July 7, to advance in the double elimination tournament. The team will take to the field again tonight at 6 p.m. at the La Sierra Community Center ball fields, in Carmichael, Calif. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Ellen L Hatfield)
