940th Civil Engineer Squadron hits the road...repairs

Master Sgt. Alan Carlson, a heavy equipment supervisor with the 940th Civil Engineer Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, Calif., uses a rake during a road repair project on base Aug 11. Sergeant Carlson has about 20 years experience as a bull dozer and heavy equipment operator for the City of Roseville, experience he wanted to use to tackle the project on base. The road had been degraded over the past two years after flooding caused the initial damages.
