940th Reservists practice life-saving skills, prepare for battle

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, CALIF. --Air Force Reservists assigned to the 940th Air Refueling Wing here stabilize a "wounded" warrior during a self aid and buddy care evaluation Dec. 8, 2007. Wing Reservists were practicing their survival skills in preparation for a February 2008 operational readiness inspection. A variety of "wounded" individuals were expertly moulaged to simulate the full spectrum of battlefield injuries. Tech. Sgt. Barbara Mateus, 940th SABC instructor/evaluator said the Airmen were being tested on their ability to engage and help while maintaining the safety of everyone.
