AMDC Liter Training
Maj. Vincent Chiappone, Staff. Sgt. Joy Ottrix, Lt. Col. Julie Clement, and Tech. Sgt. Amy Stultz all of the 940th Wing Aero Medical Squadron practice using a litter during an active shooter training exercise at Beale Air Force Base, Calif. The training, held during the September Unit Training Assembly, was part of their annual mass causality exercise to prepare AMDS Reservists to properly treat patients during an emergency event. Clement said this training readies all career fields within the AMDS to work together during emergencies. “We need to make sure patients are treated during the golden hour and receive the proper care,” said Clement.
