TROPICARE 13 teams with local health agencies to provide free care to Hawaiians
A volunteer with the Hawai'i Island Cardiovascular, Inc., administers an immunization to a patient at TROPICARE 13, a Reserve component medical Innovative Readiness Training event that provided free health services to communities throughout the Hawaiian islands, June 2-15, 2013. More than 70 Guard and Reserve personnel were in the district of Ka'u on the Big Island, working closely with local health agencies and community organizations to provide medical, vision and dental care to underserved citizens there.
