Beale Reservists Come Together

Occupational Safety Manager, Master Sgt. Ryan Santos, gave safety tips at the 940th Wing commander’s all call March 5, 2016 at Beale Air Force Base, California. Santos said wing airmen should be cautious about the dangers of traveling to and from work and how distracted driving adversely affects safety conditions on the roads.

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, California – Col. John Trnka Jr., 940th Wing commander, hosted a commander's all call for Reserve Airmen at Beale Air Force Base on March 5, 2016 during the reserve duty weekend at the base theater here.

These semi-annual gatherings provide reservists an opportunity to address important topics, such as safety, chaplain services, and services available at the Airman and Family Readiness Center on base. This gathering is also used as a time for the wing commander to define his priorities, boost morale, recognize award winners and accomplishments, and connect fellow reservists.

"We are making a choice to be here," said Trnka. "Most of you don't have an active duty or reserve service commitment. Thanks for making the choice to be here with me this weekend."
