940th Wing supports the World's Largest Golf Outing

Beale's 13th Reconnaissance Squadron, part of the 940th Wing, supported the World's Largest Golf Outing by volunteering at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club Aug. 11, in Lincoln, Calif.

The volunteers assisted in golfer's registration, handed out registration gifts, managed the golf bag drop-off area, and catered a luncheon for participants.

In addition, the 940th Wing Honor Guard presented the colors before the first tee-off.

The World's Largest Golf Outing is an annual event played across 26 states at more than 120 courses simultaneously. The event contributes to the Wounded Warrior Project from donations made by participants.

The Lincoln Hills Golf Club contributed $11,487 in donations to add to the nation-wide total of $748,805.
