News Briefs is a list of unit events and information for 940th Air Refueling Wing personnel.

Mission Support Group Commander's Call
The 940th MIssion Support Group will hold Commander's Call Jan. 6, at 10 a.m., in the Community Activities Center. Attendance is required for all MSG members.

Recertification Requirement
All Reservists are required to recertify their Basic Allowance for Housing every three years in accordance with DODFMR Volume 7A. Unit orderly rooms will have copies of the Air Force Form 594, Application and Authorization to Start, Stop or Change Basic Allowance for Quarters. Members should check to make sure they have all supporting documentation required to accompany the AF Form 594. This item must be completed and turned in to Finance, Reserve Pay Office, by Mar. 4, 2007. For questions, call ext. 1883/1884.

W-2s Available
Reserve and Guard W-2s are now available on the web at MyPay. To access and print a W-2 go to https://mypay.dfas.mil/mypay.aspx and log in to the site.

Dr. Martin Luther King Breakfast
The Dr. Martin Luther King breakfast is set for Jan. 12 at the Recce Point Club, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Guest speaker is Lt. Col. Sheila R. Robinson. Cost is $9 for members, and $11 for non-members. Dress is uniform of the day. Sign-up is through unit representatives, first sergeants, or Orlando Richards at ext. 3974.

National Prayer Breakfast
The National Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Recce Point Club Jan. 17 at 7:30 a.m. Guest speaker is the Air Force Chief of Chaplains, Maj. Gen. Charles Baldwin. Cost is $4 for staff sergeants and below, and $8 for all others. For tickets, please e-mail, phone or visit Staff. Sgt. Brian Ramirez or Sr.A. April Castro, ext. 4701/4705, or sign up at the Foothills or Valley Chapel. Club members may sign the pro-rata sheet at the Club on the day of the event.
