An Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Fighting Falcon prepares to receive fuel from an Air Force Reserve KC-135 Stratotanker flown by the 940th Air Refueling Wing. The tanker is based out of Beale Air Force Base, Calif. and flew a mission to refuel seven Thunderbirds over the Nevada desert. The Thunderbirds are the main attraction for the Capital City Air Show in Sacramento June 9 and 10, which culminates Air Force Week. The 940th ARW will also have a KC-135 flyby and static display at the show.
