The Recce Challenge Adventure Series, sponsored by the 9th Reconnaissance Wing Services Squadron, consisted of a road and trail portion. The Captain finished first in the road portion and first overall, posting his best time ever of 42:30. Capt. Brandon Stepp, an Air Force Reservist with the 940th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, Calif., accepts his first place trophy after posting his best run time ever to win the Beale Recce Challenge Adventure Series 10K race. The captain finished first overall with a time of 42:30, saying, "It was by far, the best time of my life."
