BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Vice Commander of the 940th Air Refueling Wing, Air Force Reservist Col. David L. Mitchell is presented a retirement flag that flew over the U.S. capital from a member of Beale AFB honor guard during his retirement ceremony Sept. 13, 2008. All members of U.S. armed forces, which include guard and reserve, are entitled to a retirement flag. Col. Mitchell retired from the Air Force Reserve after 35 years of honorable service.
