Reserve NCO Leadership Development Course

Twenty Airmen from the 940th Wing completed a two week Air Force Reserve Non-Commissioned Officer Leadership Development Course in June.

The NCO Leadership Development Course is a bi-annual course comprised of topics on leadership skills/types, counseling members, bullet statements, mentoring and team work.

"It was a great way for people of all work areas to get together and learn from each other," said Staff Sgt. Alexandria Hayes, 940th Operations Group client systems technician. "I think I'll have many friends for life from this class and have a network of great supervisors to reach out to for help."

Among the members who attended the course were: Tech Sgt. Keith Cross, Tech Sgt. John Furgerson, Staff Sgt. Alexandria Hayes, Senior Airman Brian Hendriksen, Airman 1st Class Kortney Jones, Staff Sgt. Casey Krock, Staff Sgt. Dennis Licon, Senior Airman Aaron Loving, Tech Sgt. Jennifer Owens, Senior Airman Melissa Parent, Staff Sgt. Benjamin Pope, Staff Sgt. Christine Quick, Staff Sgt. Rene Reyna-Tobar, Staff Sgt. Melanie Sayas, Staff Sgt. Manuel Valdez, Senior Airman Marcella Valdez, Senior Airman Kassie Young, Staff Sgt. Charles Zarza, Jr., Tech Sgt. Steven Zody, and Staff Sgt. Peter Thompson.

The course counts for two semester credit hours from Central Texas College for the Intro to Management Theory and Leadership Communication in Management courses.
