Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Hon. Daniel B. Ginsberg, visited Beale Air Force Base, Calif., Oct. 12, 2011. Mr. Ginsberg met with the reserve wing's leadership and toured the installation's intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, including the RQ-4 Global Hawk and Distributed Ground System Two.
"Secretary Ginsberg's visit was very informative. We had an excellent opportunity to discuss a broad range of reserve issues, some specific to the 940th Wing and others generally applicable to reservists everywhere. The Secretary's insightful inputs were enlightening, as well as impacting to all members of this wing and the missions we perform here," said Colonel Jonathan Ellis, 940th Operations Group commander.
