BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. –
940th Wing Commander, Colonel Kevin Cavanagh, met with members of the 13th Reconnaissance Squadron moments after Air Force officials released the Force Structure Announcement, March 6, 2012. Initially, the 940th Wing was slated to gain two members in the coming fiscal year. Since, however, the 13 RS has learned it will face possible deactivation and reallocation of the squadron's 196 members, adding to Beale's projected loss of 897 active duty, Guard and civilian members identified in the March 6 announcement.
