Beale Air Force Base, Calif. –
More than 40 members of the 940th Wing, Beale Air Force Base, Calif. participated in the 10th annual Yuba-Sutter Veterans Day Parade Sunday, Nov. 11.
Colonel Kevin Cavanagh, commander 940th Wing , and Command Chief Master Sergeant Jason Henderson lead the group of reservists through the streets of downtown Marysville, Calif. before a crowd of local citizens and retired military service members.
"This parade is a very special occasion and we are very happy to be a part of it," Col. Cavanagh said. "Marysville and Yuba City have shown great support for Beale Air Force Base and the Air Force Reserve and we are proud to be a part of this Veterans Day tradition."
This year's parade drew a record number of entries including Yuba City resident and World War II veteran, retired Lieutenant Commander Joe Langdell.
