BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, California –
Approximately 40 Airmen assigned to the 940th Air Refueling Wing participated in a foreign object debris walk of the flightline March 12, 2017, at Beale Air Force Base, California. FOD walks are a crucial part of flightline safety because even the smallest debris can cause significant monetary damage to the aircraft, as well as endanger the Airmen. Members from across the wing are invited to participate in routine FOD walks held every Sunday of the unit training assembly weekend.
