BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, California --  

Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 940th Air Refueling Wing participated in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosives training, also known as CBRNE, during the August Unit Training Assembly at Beale Air Force Base, California Aug. 12, 2017.

 

CBRNE training prepares Airmen to survive and work in a hazardous environment either at home or overseas.

 

CBRNE also instructs students how to properly wear and use individual protective equipment which includes chemical protective overgarment. These clothing and equipment are used to protect the user from an unsafe environment.
